Having a plastic surgery is not like buying a nice dress that will suit you for the rest of your life, it is a real operation, and should not be taken light-heartedly.
The key to a successful and safe plastic surgery is a good doctor. Before getting in touch with the plastic surgeon and entering the clinic for a preliminary interview, there are number of things you should do to make sure you are not wasting your time.

• Verify that the plastic surgeon is qualified. Although each country regulates plastic surgery practice in different ways, a plastic surgeon still needs to be a doctor, so this type of information can be easily checked.
• Try to gather as much information as possible on the surgeon: for how long has he practiced for? What type of plastic surgery is his specialty? Facial liposuction or nose reduction? Is there any former unhappy patient? Why were there unhappy? Internet websites and forums can be very useful to read reviews and get in touch with former patients.
• Same thing applies to the clinic: is it a good structure? Dos it have a good reputation in the area?
• Try to get an as clear idea as possible of the liposuction costs and liposuction recovery period. It important to know if the price you will be quoted is too high or too low. If it is too high it means you are being ripped off, if it is too low you are probably in not very safe hands.
• Once you have done all this, and you have found a candidate, start the process again and look for a second option. Even if the first you found convinced you already, it is always good to have a choice. After all, this is only a preliminary investigation and what looks very good and reliable on paper, may give a completely different impression after you have actually been there personally.
