Asian Makeup Tutorial
No Comments
Asian makeup techniques can be used in many ways to enhance your beauty. Asian’s our well known for the makeup that they usually have around their eyes. This is mostly due to shape and size of the eyes. Putting certain colors in certain places can make the shape of your eyes and face look completely different. In this tutorial we will show you how you can do the same with some of these Asian makeup tips.
First things first we want to choose the right colors for your skin. Choosing the right color makeup is very important, so take your time and shop around a little. Doing this can make a huge difference in how your makeup turns out. People with brown skin tones should look for shades of makeup like grays, browns, and darker oranges. Also look for some sort of rose shade for your blush.
Before applying any makeup make sure to apply some kind of base foundation that matches your skin tone. I would suggest using a liquid foundation seeing as you can use less and still cover everything well. Don’t forget to use a concealer to hide and dark areas or blemishes.
Making your eyes stand out is the next step. To do this apply a very thin layer of translucent powder to your eyelids. Make sure not to put too much on or this will look heavy and gaudy. After applying that put a lighter shade of grey over that and under your lower lashes.
To make them stand out even more apply a darker shade in all corners and creases around the eyeball. Make sure to blend all the shades very well afterwards to get a very smooth and appealing shadow look.
This is where most women mess up. If you’re looking for your eyes to stand out and you have done all the steps above you don’t want to go heavy on the lipstick and blush. Keep it simple by applying a light bronzer just below the cheekbones and on your forehead and chin. Complete the project by adding a nice mellow/warm lipstick. That should have you looking great. Keep in mind that most women don’t like the deep stand out look and prefer more of an simple look like asian bridal makeup, which is a lot more mellow. Just remember to take your time and experiment!
